‘Resident Evil 7: Not A Hero DLC’ First Gameplay Trailer Leaks Online
Capcom had recently announced that a couple of new DLCs would be coming to Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (RE7) with the game's Gold Edition on December 12. The Gold Edition will include the last-paid 'End of Zoe' DLC along with the free-expansion pack titled 'Not A Hero'.
The first gameplay trailer showcasing the Not A Hero free DLC has leaked online as an unlisted video on the Resident Evil YouTube channel. Capcom is yet to announce the release of this gameplay footage for RE7 and hence it is evident that the video could have been accidentally posted online.
Capcom may be preserving this footage for a future announcement or an embargo release. If that is the case, the company could soon take it down at first sight.
RE7 fans can enjoy the footage (above) as long as it lasts on YouTube. Chris Redfield apparently makes a comeback in this action-focused game with more realistic visuals than the previous releases.
Chris Redfield also gets some facelift with his new looks that sync well with the revamped gameplay mechanics in RE7. Nevertheless, several fan theories are now speculating about clones and long-lost brothers coming together in the upcoming Not A Hero DLC.
According to Capcom, Not A Hero succeeds the events of the main game, implying that it will reveal what's happened to Chris since Resident Evil 6 and why he may be working for Umbrella now.
In RE7, Redfield is shown to have deeper roots with Umbrella as he is seen rushing in with the Umbrella soldiers, before terminating zombies and cleaning up the remains of Eveline.
