Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 Specs Rumor: 3GB of RAM, Dual Camera, LCD Screen

In a recent report, Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Redmi Pro 2 anytime soon. Last month, some of the specifications of the Redmi Pro 2 had shortly appeared on the company's website, however, a new report now gives us a hint at some of the specifications that can be expected from the upcoming Redmi Pro 2.

The original Redmi Pro featured an OLED display and most likely the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will follow the suit and could also feature a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, which will be manufactured by TCL.  Earlier reports claim that the Redmi Pro 2 would have a screen with Full HD resolution, and added that this would be a full-screen display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor and will be backed up with 3GB of RAM. Just like last year's version, the Redmi Pro 2 is also believed to retain the dual-camera setup on the back.

The upcoming smartphone may come with a combination of 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 main sensor, and a 5-megapixel Samsung S5K4E8 secondary sensor on the back, reported by GSMarena. For selfies, reports claim that the Redmi Pro 2 could come with 16-megapixel Samsung S5K3P8 sensor on the front and other features like Bluetooth, Gyroscope, Wi-Fi, and Accelerometer.

Rumores are rife that the Redmi Pro 2 will come in multiple variants, 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage, and a 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage. The device will come with a 4,050mAh battery. At the moment, there's no official word on when the Redmi Pro 2 will be unveiled, though theories point to a July launching with a price tag starting at $177.
