Minecraft has a new guest in town: Angry Birds! The new DLC is sure to bring more fun chaos to the already packed Minecraft universe.

The latest collaborator of Minecraft is Oreville Studios, the creator behind the popular video game franchise, Angry Birds. As recalled, Angry Birds was a game that let players revolve around the character of Red, going on adventures trying to get their friends back and find their stolen eggs.

Since this Angry Birds collaboration is in DLC form, people can basically play Angry Birds in Minecraft. Both the game's mechanics and characters have been translated into the blocky world of survival crafting.

Minecraft DLC

The new Minecraft DLC now incorporates a set of animals that gamers can explore with. It will task players with completing a variety of quests in order to unlock new playable characters and free additional birds from the clutches of the franchise's villainous pigs.

According to GameSpot, the game will have the option of playing Angry Birds in Minecraft with their friends in cooperative mode. They will also have the choice of either playing through standard missions with exploration in the traditional Minecraft style or in "classic mode," which brings them back to the original gameplay of the Angry Birds game.

Once they have been saved, additional characters will become playable, and using their individual skills will be essential to foiling the Pigs' schemes.

This Minecraft Angry Birds DLC is now available for 1,340 Minecoins, but gamers who wish to support Angry Birds without paying any money can receive Red's Hoodie for free in the game's Dressing Room.

Numerous commentators have pointed out that the partnership seems to have arrived a decade too late, with two games dominating the cultural landscape in the early 2010s. However, it is abundantly evident that both games continue to have a dedicated fanbase. The initial evaluations of the downloadable content (DLC) on its Marketplace page are now largely positive.

Minecraft Angry Birds DLC Trailer

This newly launched Minecraft DL appears to be something that may be a lot of fun for anyone a lover of the Angry Birds franchise.

The character designs in the trailer that can be seen above are very close to being flawless, and there is a great deal of attention to detail overall. It is my sincere hope that players who appreciate either Minecraft or Angry Birds will find the DLC to be entertaining in and of itself.

With the warm welcome from both the Minecraft and the Angry Birds communities, the commenters themselves have pointed something out about this collaboration.

Even though it would seem strange to some people to see this kind of official partnership in Minecraft, the fact is that the game has featured licensed content in the past that was based on a variety of other video game brands.

According to Comicbook, players can play Minecraft on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 5, the Xbox One, the Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Oreville Studios, a studio specializing in creating in-game content for Minecraft, worked in conjunction with Rovio Entertainment, the developers of Angry Birds, to generate the downloadable content. It can be purchased from the Minecraft Marketplace for 1340 Minecoins or a little less than $10.
