Target will be holding a special iOS device promotion for two days leading up to Christmas. The retailer will offer significant savings on iPhones and iPads for last-minute shoppers.
Two of this year's most popular holiday gifts will be devices from Apple. We've already seen several retailers slash the price of Apple's iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Target has also been running a promotion on the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s, offering the iPhone 5c for $50 and including a $50 gift card with purchase, while the iPhone 5s was cut to $149.99. Those prices are set to expire on Dec. 22 but if you missed out, the retailer will offer a similar in-store sale from Dec. 22 through Dec 24, according to a new report.
Starting on Dec. 22, Target will offer the iPhone 5c for $30 when signing a new 2-year contract and will also include a free $30 gift card with the purchase. The iPhone 5c includes the same 4-inch Retina display found on the flagship iPhone 5s and comes with 16GB of internal storage. It's powered by an A6 processor and packs in an 8-megapixel iSight camera and a front-facing camera for FaceTime and selfies. The iPhone 5c is available in choice of white, blue, pink, yellow, or green color options.
Target will also offer the iPhone 5s at a reduced price of $179.99 when signing a new 2-year contract and include a free $25 gift card. The iPhone 5s features the all-new Touch ID, which uses a fingerprint scanner built into the smartphone's home button for added security and allows you to purchase apps, music, movies, and books from iTunes using your fingerprint instead of having to type in your password. The 5s is powered by the all-new A7 processor and M7 co-processor, which allow for 64-bit processing and better power efficiency. Apple has included an 8-megapixel iSight camera with True Tone flash for richer colors, a new slow motion video feature, and a front-facing camera for video chat. The handset includes 16GB of internal storage and is offered in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray.
If you're looking to purchase the iPad Air, Target will offer the 16GB tablet for $479 and will include a free $20 gift card with the purchase. The first-generation 16GB iPad mini will be on sale for $299 and also comes with a free $30 gift card with purchase.
