LG G Flex and Optimus F3Q now available from T-Mobile

T-Mobile is now selling the curved display LG G Flex and the physical QWERTY-packing LG Optimus F3Q online and in retail stores.

If you've been wanting a T-Mobile LG G Flex or LG Optimus F3Q, you'll be happy to know that the carrier is now selling both smartphones through its online store and in its retail stores. The LG G Flex is a unique phablet featuring a 6-inch curved 720p HD display, while the LG Optimus F3Q kicks it old school and packs in a physical side QWERTY slide-out keyboard.

The T-Mobile LG G Flex retails for 24 monthly payments of $28 or can be purchased outright for $672. It has another unique feature besides its curved display, as LG has put a special coating on the rear of the device that enables the smartphone to heal itself from tiny minor scratches.

As a reminder, the LG G Flex features a 6-inch curved 1280 x 720 curved P-OLED display with a pixel density of 245 pixels per inch (ppi) and it's running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean (LG has confirmed an Android 4.4 KitKat update will be released). It's powered by a fast 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit (GPU) and 2GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly.

LG ships the G Flex with 32GB of internal storage, but no microSD expansion slot. The handset is also packing in a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and the ability to record 1080p video @60fps, as well as a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. Its wireless connectivity options consist of a 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, and NFC. As previously mentioned, it also has a special coating on the back of its case that can heal itself from small scratches. The smartphone uses a non-removable 3,500 mAh battery, which will provide up to 29 hours of talk time.

The LG Optimus F3Q, meanwhile, comes with a feature that was very popular a few years ago, but hasn't been seen too often. T-Mobile is selling the Optimus F3Q for $13 a month for 24 months of $312 to buy it outright. The handset has a physical QWERTY slide-out keyboard, which makes typing on the handset faster and easier than the typical onscreen keyboard we've all gotten used to. The LG Optimus F3Q is an entry-level smartphone and features a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 and is running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and includes 1GB of RAM. The handset is packing a 5-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing camera for video chat and selfies. Its wireless connectivity options consist of 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The smartphone ships with a 2,460 mAh battery.

The LG G Flex and LG Optimus F3Q are both available now from T-Mobile online and in the carrier's retail stores, so you can now place your order.
