iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy S5 side by side in new comparison shot

Another day, another iPhone 6 leak, this time showing the purported next-generation iPhone next to the Samsung Galaxy S5 in a new comparison shot.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is one of the most powerful smartphones currently available on the market, and Apple and Samsung are well-known archrivals. The iPhone 6, meanwhile, is among the most highly-anticipated devices of this year and is expected to launch as a real powerhouse with great upgrades over its predecessor.

While Apple has so far been reluctant regarding larger screen sizes for its iPhones, the company is widely expected to finally take a chance and launch the iPhone 6 with a large display. In fact, two large displays, as the smartphone will reportedly come in two models: one with a 4.7-inch screen and the other with a massive 5.5-inch display.

After seeing the purported 4.7-inch iPhone 6 posing for the camera next to the current iPhone 5S, we know have another comparison shot showing the same handset alongside the Galaxy S5. The latest leak comes from GSM Arena and gives us a good look at how the two devices compare side-by-side.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 seems to have thinner bezels at the top and bottom of the display, but fatter ones on the sides. In other words, the purported iPhone 6 has thinner side bezels compared to its rival. The new leak falls in line with the previous one showing the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 5S side by side, as it shows the same design for the upcoming smartphone.

The iPhone 6 seen in these images also seems to mirror the design of the iPod Touch to some extent, which has also been rumored before. On the other hand, the iPhone 6 seems to have more rounded edges.

The 4.7-inch iPhone model is expected to launch this fall, sometime in September or October at the latest, with the 5.5-inch version to launch later on. Nothing is confirmed at this point however, and all of these leaks may or may not prove to be accurate. As always in such cases, it is highly advisable to take everything with a big grain of salt until an official announcement.
