The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has leaked yet again ahead of its Sept. 3 debut, this time with some pricing details in tow.
The Galaxy Note 4 is one of the most highly-anticipated devices of this year and is expected to boast top-notch specs and features all around, with notable improvements over its predecessor. Considering that the Galaxy Note 3 is already a powerhouse on its own, the new flagship phablet should be even more impressive.
High-end specs and features, however, typically warrant a price to match, and the latest leak reveals quite a steep price for the device. Although Samsung has yet to officially announce the Galaxy Note 4, Russia's branch of Media Markt has now revealed the phablet's price for the country.
According to the source (in Russian), the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will cost RUB 35,000 when it launches in Russia, which is the same price the Galaxy Note 3 had when it hit the country last year. This amount would translate to roughly $940, which is a whopping price. It's worth pointing out, however, that pricing also varies by region, and the Galaxy Note 4's price in Russia is surely higher than in other markets. The Galaxy S5, for instance, costs RUB 30,000 in the country, which is roughly $800.
The listing further mentions that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to hit the Russian market in late September or early October. The commercial launch of the device in other regions of the world is expected to occur around the same time.
In terms of specifications, previous leaks reealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will venture into QHD (2K) territory, boasting an impressive 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood, the phablet will reportedly pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor or a 64-bit Samsung Exynos 5433 chipset, depending on market, paired with at least 3GB of RAM.
