AT&T exclusively launching ASUS MeMO Pad 7 LTE – Pricing & options (VIDEO)

AT&T will be the exclusive carrier for the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 LTE in the U.S. and will start selling the tablet later this week.

Starting on Friday, April 10, the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 LTE will go on sale in AT&T stores, on the carrier's website, as well as select national retailers.

The ASUS MeMO Pad 7 LTE comes as the first connected Android tablet from AT&T to pack an Intel processor, and will be available with various pricing options.

AT&T will offer the tablet for $74.99 with a two-year service agreement, $8.75 per month for 20 months with the AT&T Tablet Installment plan, or $0.99 when purchasing a smartphone (any smartphone) on an AT&T Next plan.

The ASUS MeMO Pad 7 LTE will also be available with GoPhone pricing options in AT&T stores starting on April 24 for $174.99. Customers can pre-pay $25 per month for 2GB of data, $50 for 5GB, or $75 for 8GB.

"ASUS is excited to launch MeMO Pad 7 LTE with AT&T. The MeMO Pad 7 LTE focuses on user comfort and entertainment with a broad set of entertainment-focused features and a thin and light design. ASUS and AT&T are proud to provide you the ultimate device in an affordable package," added Benson Lin, corporate vice president and general manager of Mobile Communication, ASUS.

"We are excited to support ASUS and AT&T in launching the MeMO Pad 7 LTE. The MeMO Pad 7 LTE is powered by the Intel Atom processor and the Intel® XMMTM 7260 modem, providing great performance with long battery life and world-class LTE to users," further touted Aicha Evans, vice president and general manager of Communication and Devices Group, Intel.

The ASUS MeMO Tab 7 LTE features a 7-inch HD IPS+ display with a 178-degree wide viewing angle, a 1.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor under the hood, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage capacity, microSD card support for additional memory of up to 64GB, and a 5-megapixel rear camera. On the software side, the slate ships with Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box.
