ASUS has a new ZenBook UX305 Crystal White Limited Edition ultrabook, available now in addition to a standard edition champagne gold model.
While the standard version of the ASUS ZenBook UX305 comes with a $699 price tag, the Limited Edition model goes up to $999, and only 200 units of this Crystal White variant are available.
"ASUS Computer International today announces the ZenBook UX305 Crystal White Limited Edition and new champagne gold ZenBook UX305 - the perfect Ultrabook for frequent travelers. The Crystal White Limited Edition takes the award-winning ZenBook UX305 and ups the ante on performance and features to create a powerhouse Ultrabook that delivers form and function," ASUS touted in a press release on Wednesday, May 12.
The Limited Edition ultrabook features a 13.3-inch IPS matte display with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels, runs Windows 8.1, and comes with high-end specs for a quality performance.
In addition to the high-resolution display, the Limited Edition ASUS ZenBook UX305 further packs an Intel Core M 5Y71 processor under the hood, paired with Intel HD Graphics 3000, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The laptop also features an HD webcam and Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and Ethernet connectivity. Other specs include three USB 3.0 ports, a micro HDMI port, an SD card reader, a combo audio jack, ASUS SonicMaster audio, an integrated microphone, and a 44Wh integrated battery.
In other words, this Limited Edition comes with a higher resolution and more storage compared to the regular model, but also with a higher price tag to mirror the upgrades.
The ZenBook UX305 in the new champagne gold matte finish, meanwhile, comes with an Intel Core M 5Y10 processor, a 13.3-inch 1080p matte IPS display, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD, retailing for MSRP $699.
As previously mentioned, only 200 units of the $999 ASUS ZenBook UX305 Crystal White Limited Edition are available, so interested customers might want to grab one while they still can. The Limited Edition is available exclusively from the ASUS Store at this link. The standard model in champagne gold is not exclusive to the ASUS Store, and is available from select brick and mortar retailers.
