Moto X Pure Edition Is The Best Android Smartphone

After Google's Moto X was the best smartphone of the year 2014, this year's version Moto X Pure Edition maintain its top place after getting a significant upgrade.

The Moto X Pure Edition features awesome software and a giant 5.7-inch screen. It comes with great hardware and software, excellent set of features and superfast processor.

The price is not too expensive for such a top-of-the-line phone. Being unexpected cheap makes Moto X Pure Edition to stand out among its rivals on the market. Google is a step ahead of its competitor brands by offering great value for the money. Moto X Pure Edition compares favorably or at least equally in hardware specifications with the Samsung Galaxy S6, the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, the OnePlus 2, the LG G4 and other top-of-the-line phones.

The entry-level option comes with 16 GB and with a price tag of $399. That's about $250 less than the iPhone 6 and $350 less than the iPhone 6 Plus. It is also $100 less than the LG G4 and $150 less than the Galaxy S6. The only competitor model that beats its price is the OnePlus 2, which comes with the price tag of $329.

Motorola's North American sales chief, Jeff Miller, declared that the company is striving to beat its competition by providing better value for money, since they know well that customers "... don't like to be taken advantage of."

According to Motorola, the company owned by Google has solved some of the most important issues with last year's Moto X. The new smartphone comes with a battery that will charge very fast and last long. The Pure Edition also features a great camera.

Like its predecessors, the new Google/Motorola smartphone will be very customizable. Users will be able to design their phone online, choosing among multiple color combinations, wood grain or even leather. Moto X Pure Edition's software is also customizable.

The new Moto X will run a version of Android designed with a few tweaks by Google, to help making your phone more personal. For instance, you can set it to silence itself during meetings, vibrate at work and talk to you when you're home. The smartphone can read texts for users when they're driving. It also can give notifications at a glance when users wave their hand over the screen. Just a quick shake can launch the flashlight or camera.

The Moto X Pure Edition, like the OnePlus 2, will be offered only off-contract. According to Motorola, going contract free is a risk they are willing to take with hopes that the gamble will pay off. For customers that means they won't be able to take advantage of an offer for a subsidized phone from their carrier.

However, the good news is that the new smartphone from Google/Motorola But will work on any of the four U.S. cell phone networks: T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon or AT&T. And customers will notice quicker software updates since they will not have to go first through their carrier.

The new Moto X Pure Edition smartphone will be launched on the market in September. It will be available for purchase online on Amazon, Best Buy and Motorola.com.
