AT&T Is Offering A 'Buy One, Get One' Smartphone Deal

With the holidays coming up, it goes without saying that companies run enticing deals to gain the attention of would-be consumers. American carrier giant AT&T is not one to miss out as it quietly launches a "buy one, get one free" deal on the smartphones it is currently offering. Up for grabs are Samsung's latest flagship, the Galaxy S6, as well as many others. But it seems Apple's prized iPhones may be out of the equation.

There are no Apple iPhones in AT&T's advertisement of the promotion. In fact, the carrier is Samsung's Galaxy S6 as the most standout device of the promotion. However, according to reports, the iPhone 6s is indeed eligible for customers to nab although it wasn't listed most likely due to Apple.

As expected, the promotion will require customers to have the carrier's monthly financing plan, AT&T Next. Customers will also be required to keep their subscription with AT&T on the next devices for at least 30 months in order for them to get the free device.

As with any running promotions, there is a fine print that comes with AT&T's current deal: "When you buy both on AT&T Next with qual. svc. (min. $70/mo.). Free after up to $650 in 30 monthly bill credits. (Credits start within 3 bills). Tax due at sale... Free device req's new line on AT&T Next 24 with 30-mo. 0% APR agmt (up to $21.67/mo.). Pay up to $65.01 on free device before credits start. If svc. canceled on 1, that device balance (up to $950) is due. Activ./upgrade & other fees, monthly & other charges & restr. apply. Void in CT, RI & Miami-Dade."

However, customers that are already staying on AT&T Next and are looking to buy eligible Android devices or iPhones will get two units at a very appealing price with the deal. For those who are looking to get a smartphone or two this coming Christmas as a gift for a family member or a friend, AT&T's deal is one tough deal to miss out.
