Guy Shreds The 'Dark Souls 3' Abyss Watchers Like Papers – Here Is How

One of the best things about "Dark Souls 3" is the kind of bosses it offers. And like most of these monsters, fans have grown to a love-hate relationship with the Abyss Watchers. But of course, that does not mean they cannot be defeated -- a player proved it simply by using the Astora Greatsword.

It holds true that the Abyss Watchers in "Dark Souls 3" are a tough opponent to defeat. They will not go down easily, yes. However, according to VG247, shredding them into pieces can really be easy through the Astora Greatsword.

A YouTube user known as Phi6er showcases how the Abyss Watchers can be beaten without sweat. In fact, based on the video he uploaded, he is defeating the early boss in "Dark Souls 3" without acquiring any damage. And in order to highlight the hits he has given, he utilized the hit confirmation as well as the graphic of "Call of Duty."

The Astora Greatsword has the kind of weapon skill set that is quite unique for an ordinary sword. It allows "Dark Souls 3" players to thrust their opponents with ease while hitting them a couple of times. But aside from that, the sword also prides in giving stunning abilities. No wonder Phi6er made the Abyss Watchers look foolish.

In related news, Neurogadget cites just how popular "Dark Souls 3" has become nowadays. More and more up-and-coming titles are trying to emulate the game's style as well as its lore, in one way or another.

The publication even states that the closest thing to having a "Dark Souls 3" blessing is the "Salt and Sanctuary." The latter is basically a 2D game for PlayStation 4 and PC, but it is expected to introduce a PlayStation Vita version soon.

"Salt and Sanctuary" is just one of the many games that have become a hit, thanks to "Dark Souls 3." Well, there is no doubt about it -- the "Dark Souls 3" franchise is indeed a huge success in the market.
