Galaxy Note 7 Leak Reveals All New Color Options For The Upcoming Samsung Flagship

Leaks of the new color options for Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 are out and rumors are circulating prior to the phone's release in August.

The most advanced in the generation of Galaxy Notes, photos of the new Note 7 have already made the news. Other specifications of the phone have also leaked.

Two kinds of the Note 7 will be released. Units for the North American market will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and be backed up by 6 GB of RAM. The ones for the other parts of the globe will use the Samsung Exynos 8893 chipset but will again have 6 GB of RAM.

All units will have 64 GB of internal storage and a 5.7-inch QHD resolution Super AMOLED panel. The front facing camera is powered with 5 MP, while the primary camera will have a 12MP resolution.

The Note 7 will operate with Android 6.0 Marshmallow but should soon be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. The battery has 4,000 mAh of power and is dust and water resistant.

An iris scanner is located at the front of the phone. The S Pen comes with this unit like other units in the Note series.

The iris scanner is a phenomenal feature in the latest of Samsung phones. To use the iris scanner, the user needs to position the phone so that their eyes are inside two on-screen circles, with the phone held around 25-35cm away from the face.

The iris detection software is the latest in smart phone's security features.

Samsung is rumored to release the Galaxy Note 7 on Aug. 2, a few days before the opening of the 2016 Olympics.
