Xbox One S vs Xbox One Deals: Choose Between A Free 50" HDTV Or Free 1-Year Xbox Gold Subscription

The new Xbox One S is coming out in a few days, which could leave the original Xbox One in the dust. And while there are killer deals being handed out with a purchase of the new console, there are also some very notable steals that come with the purchase of the original Xbox One.

According to Game Rant, eBay is offering one of the best deals for the Xbox One S. That is, it has bundled up the 2 TB Launch Edition with a copy of "Sunset Overdrive," as well as a year-long Xbox Live Gold Membership. The deal could save users as much as $90, as the console will remain priced at $299.99.

Meanwhile, Windows Central has reported on a deal from Best Buy. The company is giving not just one deal, but three different deals for their buyers. The first gives buyers a copy of the ultimate edition of "Gears of War," while the second partners the white Xbox One with a copy of "Quantum Break."

On the other hand, buyers could opt for the third offering, which would give them a choice in the following games: "Gears Of War Ultimate Edition," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Rare Replay," or "Forza Motorsport 6."

Each of these options also gives the the buyer a 50-inch Sharp smart HDTV at the price of $349.99. All in all, the combination can provide the gamer with a $100 in savings.

Of course, the deal is not just in the money saved, but in the specs of the consoles themselves. As Trusted Reviews notes, the Xbox One S is 40 percent smaller than the Xbox One, despite the power supply being built into the device.

The Xbox One S also supports 4K video, which is a feature that can mean miles of difference. Especially because it is applicable to streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon. However, the publication goes on to say that, other than the 4K video compatibility and redesign, the Xbox One S has nothing much to offer over the original Xbox One.
