Ubisoft Brings Games To Virtual Reality; VR Games To Debut In Holiday Season

One of the leading game developers, Ubisoft has recently announced via email that they will be introducing two virtual reality games in this year's E3 in Los Angeles. The company is known for their decent works on much-praised titles like Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs. Currently, they have been acknowledged in the VR community for leading the two of the most anticipated games, Eagle Fight and Werewolves Within. Based on the reports, the company's representatives also confirmed that aside from the latter 2 VR titles, an additional two game titles are set to be revealed at E3 2016.

According to UploadVR, Ubisoft admitted that these two unknown games will come as fully playable demos. This means that these two mysterious games are more than ready to be released any time soon as they have been confidently presented on a playable format. Ubisoft, on the other hand, chose to remain silent about the exact details on these games but it was rumored that several clues had been leaked out.

Based on the latest rumors, it has been revealed that the tech giant Google had included Ubisoft as gaming partner for their new Daydream mobile VR platform. This could mean the gaming studio is planning on kicking an old game into the VR world. For instance, a VR Assassin's Creed would bring extreme hype to the fans since the game itself is very compatible to the world of virtual reality. Apparently, it will always stay as an assumption until Ubisoft releases an official update.

Meanwhile, the release dates for Eagle Fight and Werewolves Within had been released and will be running on multi-platforms such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR. According to Yibada, Eagle fight is set to come first with an October 18 release on Oculus Rift, followed by a PlayStation VR release on November 8 while the HTC Vive version will come on late December.

On the other hand, Werewolves Within will be available on all three major VR platforms on December 6. Reports say that more games coming from Ubisoft are set to be released on the VR world such as Star Trek: Bridge Crew that is scheduled on November 29 for the three VR platforms and others.
