‘Orange Is The New Black’ Season 5 News & Updates: Cancellation Reports Not True; More Deaths Expected On The Show

The rumor hunting “Orange Is The New Black” that it got terminated by Netflix has been put to rest. How could this be so real when more deaths are anticipated to be revealed on its fifth installment? The famous series may be a year away but our latest juice is up to quench your thirst.

The Show Must Go On

TMZ Uncut was slammed for posting false information last month that Netflix decided to cancel “Orange Is The New Black” because employees failed to show up to work. Although the entertainment company has yet to comment on the malicious gossip, the series secured a three-season renewal.

According to Variety, show runner Jenji Kohan couldn’t be more excited and grateful of the good news.

“Here’s to keeping it interesting. Thanks Netflix! Both thanks and you’re welcome Lionsgate! And kudos and gratitude to the stellar cast and crew and writers and producers and editors and musicians and mixers and shleppers… with whom I have the pride and honor of crafting this show. Three more years! Three more years!”

This stirs a big relief for all OITNB fans as we will be accompanying the cast and crew until season 7 in our screens.

Who Will Follow Poussey’s Death?

A prior report of iTech Post mentioned the emotional cliffhanger of season 4 caused by the tragic death of Poussey Washington.  Poussey's character is adorned by many and her loss drew speculations that deaths of other major characters could be possible.

Apparently, riots are common happenings in the prison especially when inmates cannot deal with their conflicts.  One of the characters possesses a gun from a security guard.  Piper, on the other hand, seems to be the subject of another downfall in the upcoming season.  Anyone can be the next target of death.  We just have to prepare ourselves for another heartbreak when that happens.
