Nintendo NX Update: Dragon Quest Series, Sonic 2017 Included in Upcoming Platform

Nintendo NX has secured additional game titles such as the Dragon Quest Series. This is encouraging news for Nintendo fans eager to get their hands on the upcoming gaming platform.

New Upcoming Games for the Nintendo NX

The Nintendo NX is set to debut on March of next year. Little details however, have been released by Nintendo. Fortunately, a number of popular game franchises will be included with its release. The first game titles to be launched will include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Smash Bros.

The latest additional upcoming games for the Nintendo NX include Dragon Quest 10 and 11 as well as Sonic 2017 and Just Dance 2017, according to Gaming Bolt. Interestingly, even independent game developers have also announced a Nintendo NX version for their games. Austrian based Bplus will launched their upcoming game "Tank it!" for the Nintendo NX on 2017.

Nintendo NX Rumored Features

The Japanese gamemaker has been reluctant to reveal any official information about the upcoming Nintendo NX platform. The various rumors about its specs and capabilities have yet to be confirmed by Nintendo.

Industry observers believed that the Nintendo NX will be a hybrid consisting of a mobile and a home system. The mobile part will consist of detachable and handheld controllers while the system itself can be plug in to the television.

The upcoming gaming platform will also use cartridges instead of discs. A number of fans however, are concerned over the rumored decision of Nintendo to store its game in cartridge. Currently, discs carry more storage data than cartridge.

The upcoming Nintendo NX will reportedly be less powerful than the current Xbox One or the PlayStation 4. If all these rumors are true, the Nintendo NX will not be a direct competitor for the high-end gaming platforms. It is also possible that Nintendo may have developed a cartridge that can hold the same amount of data as a disc. Of course, these are all speculations for now.
