Kylie Jenner Debuts Platinum Blond Hair; Shares Look On Snapchat

Kylie Jenner rocks a platinum blonde hair color, debuts on Snapchat and says it’s inspired by sister Kourtney Kardashian.

Jenner is a natural dark brunette and is known for wearing different hair colors including pink, gray, different shades of green and a lot more. This time, she’s decided to go platinum blonde with permanent hair colors. Jenner posted several of herself and captioned it “spaghetti”.

There were speculations that the new color is temporary but Kylie documented the process through her Snapchat account, from bleaching, washing, and drying. She even used the famous dog filter as she patiently waited for the process to complete. Jenner also admitted that she wasn’t sure at first if she wanted a platinum blonde or honey color so she posted about it on Snapchat with the bee filter.

The new hairdo came after a couple of days when the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star posted a throwback photo of her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, in bleached blonde hair. She captioned the photo with “VIBES”.

Jenner mentioned on her site that she first dyed her hair when she was 16. The ability to change her look quickly by just having a different hair color got her hooked and helped her feel more confident. It can be remembered that Jenner loves wearing wigs, extensions and even had her very own Kylie Hair Kouture by Bellami. On her 18th birthday, Kylie also tried a blonde hairstyle but in honey tones.

Jenner had her fair share of flak because of her hairstyle. Just last year, Amandla Stenberg of “Hunger Games” commented on her hair braid in cornrows saying “When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter,”. Jenner replied with “Mad if I don't Mad if I do.. Go hang w Jaden or something.”
