Samsung's flagship Android smartphone Galaxy S3 is right now the hottest device available in the market! And, we mean it literally as a user reported about the melting of the case of the Galaxy S3 case due to overheat.

Engadget has reported about an International version of the Galaxy S3 phone which burst into fire while being placed in an in-care holster. The device "sparked into white flames, followed by a bang" reported the user. As a result, the phone case melted causing extensive damage to the phone and its features. The display, however, is still working, said the user. And, the Galaxy S3 owner has not been harmed during the incident.

The phone had been sent to Samsung and the company said: "Samsung is aware of this issue and will begin investigating as soon as we receive the specific product in question. Once the investigation is complete, we will be able to provide further details on the situation. We are committed to providing our customers with the safest products possible and are looking at this seriously."
