'Pokémon Sun And Moon' To Get Anime Series; Ash Will Go To School In The New Show

Pokémon continues to take everyone by storm. And not just the game itself. This time, the hit franchise is set to have another series titled "Pokémon Sun and Moon."

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" is based on the upcoming 3DS game with the same title. In the said series, Ash is going to school, something different from other versions of Pokémon anime. It was also believed that one of the key visuals in the upcoming series is Ash's aim to graduate.

Aside from Ash’s school journey, fans can also expect to see new Pokémon and characters. Ash will also Kapu Kokeko, a god who protects the Alola region.

Aside from the game and anime version, “Pokémon Sun and Moon” will also get a manga version set to release in October. The said manga version will be titled “Pokémon Horizon” and will be part of the October issue of Shogakukan’s Coro Coro Comics. The series will be drawn by artist Tenya Yabuno.

On the other hand, the game version will feature three starter Pokémon which includes grass-type Rowlet   (Mokuroh), fire-type Litten (Nyabby) and water-type Popplio (Ashimari). Rowlet has the ability to attack silently and can twist its neck 180° making it easy to see directly behind itself. Litten is a cat that can attack using flaming hairballs. Popplio is a sea lion that swims incredibly fast and can snort out balloons made of water.

“Pokémon Sun and Moon” anime series is set to air in November on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations in Japan.

Meanwhile, “Pokémon Sun and Moon” games will debut in Japan and North America on November 18 and in Europe on November 23.
