Nintendo NX Rumor: March 2017 Release Date To Be Delayed?

Nintendo NX rumors are circulating that the upcoming game platform will not be released on March 2017. There have been speculations that the Nintendo NX will possibly be launched at a later date.

No Official Nintendo NX Detail Released

Nintendo has stubbornly refused to divulge any official detail about the upcoming Nintendo NX. Most of the information about it is merely rumors coming from unofficial sources. This is contrary to what the Japanese gaming company promised in 2015, according to Forbes. Nintendo said that it will provide details about the NX this year yet so far none has been provided.

So far rumors suggest that the Nintendo NX is hybrid portable and home gaming console that will possibly use cartridges. There are also rumors that the NX will be delayed until October but these are wild speculations at the moment.

Nintendo's Tradition of Delay

Many industry observers are well aware of Nintendo's penchant for delaying the release of their products. Nintendo officials believed that a delayed but good game is far better than a rushed game that turn out to be bad.

This belief probably applies to the Nintendo NX as well. However, many believed that the NX is being groomed as a replacement for the Wii U. There are speculations that the NX delay is possibly due to some internal factors.

Not Enough Time To Build Consumer Hype Around Nintendo NX

The release of new gaming platforms like the Nintendo NX takes time to excite and hype customers. Many would want details and specs before making the decision to buy. Nintendo has less than seven months to release any detail that can justify why customers will want to spend money on their NX.

Gaming industry observers believed that Nintendo is possibly reconsidering delaying the NX release date for reasons unknown yet. The lack official information on the Nintendo NX seems to confirm this belief.
