Pokemon Go players are struggling to find a capture a Ditto in the game. Niantic CEO John Hanke was recently asked where the best place to find and capture the elusive Pokemon.

Niantic CEO Response to Ditto Query

During a Tech Crunch interview, John Hanke was asked in what particular area where Ditto could be found. The CEO said that he could not tell where exactly Ditto is located because it will take out the "fun in it. He did promise though that finding Ditto will happen.

Interpretation of Hanke's Ditto Hint

Speculations arose the minute he said those things about Ditto. A number of Pokemon players believed that Ditto is out there in the wild. But this cute blob of a Pokemon is probably so rare that the one has caught one yet.

There is also the possibility that Ditto is not yet in the game and might make an appearance along with the upcoming Legendary Pokemon. The new Pokemon Buddy system has also raised rumors that Ditto is a part of the Pokemon Easter Egg. Solving the Easter puzzle may help Ditto come out as a Pokemon Buddy. Interestingly, the interest for Ditto has even inspired Pokemon Go players to set up a Reddit forum in the search for this cute Pokemon.

Ditto Video Hoax

One Pokemon Go player posted a video purportedly showing a Ditto. The poster claimed that the Ditto was hatched from a 1 KM egg. The Egg supposedly came from Niantic as a way to compensate him for his complaint. However, the email reportedly sent by the Pokemon Go developer was later revealed to be a fake. What gave the email away were the spelling errors it contains which are unthinkable for reputable company to make.

Meanwhile, Pokemon Go players are still searching for the elusive Pokemon Ditto.
