Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 - Road to Boruto is going to be the last of the Naruto game series. This was the declaration of game developer Bandai Namco.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja was the first game of the series that was release way back in 2003. The latest of the shinobi game installment, Ninja Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is currently out and available to the three major gaming platforms namely the Windows PC, Xbox One and PS 4.

Road to Boruto - Last of the Naruto Game Series

Bandai Namco officials at the 2016 Tokyo Games event told reporters that the Road to Boruto expansion will be the last. As of last report, the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 series has been bought by more than two million buyers around the globe. The game is still very profitable for Bandai. But the idea of ending the Naruto Shippuden game series seems unthinkable to many.

Naruto Shippuden - Road to Boruto Storyline

This upcoming Naruto Shippuden expansion is based on the Boruto movie released last year. Players of the upcoming Shippuden expansion will get to play the Boruto character. Bandai promise that it will have lots of content despite being an update of the Ultimate Ninja Storm series.

The Naruto Shippuden expansion is available in digital format provided that the buyer already has the original game. For first time buyers the Road to Boruto is included in the original Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 retail along with the other DLC and expansion.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm - Road to Boruto Release Date

The Road to Boruto expansion is expected to be released on February next year. It will be available for the Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. More details about the upcoming expansion will soon be unveiled during the game event in Japan.
