Metal Gear Survive Gameplay Demo Disappoints Fans

Konami is actually trying to gain its fans' attention nowadays; however it seems that they failed to make Metal Gear Survive. As reported by Kotaku UK, Metal Gear Survive is a co-op stealth game wherein gamers need to hide and slay zombies.

In the Tokyo Game Show, Konami presented the Metal Gear Survive's 15-minute gameplay. However, the video clip of this demo has only half a million views, has over a thousand likes, but has over 14,000 dislikes. It is evident that most of the viewers are not glad, as can be seen in the Youtube comments and dislikes. However, there are also audiences who shared positive comments about the game.

In addition, Konami did not push through the release of the Silent Hills. According to Game Rant, legendary video game director Hideo Kojima was also fired, thus he was not able to accept an award for Metal Gear Solid 5. These might have partly made fans to be disappointed with the company's recent movement. There were buzzing rages over Konami's treatment to Kojima. Konami even continued to release Metal Gear Solid Games without Kojima. This made fans to be critical on the upcoming Metal Gear Survive. It seems that fans perceive this departure as something highly important, since the stealth-based gameplay is a trademark of the Metal Gear series.

According to Kojima, the idea of the game did not come from him. He even added that he has not been involved with any of the game's development. He said that the game did not stick to how he thought about Metal Gear to be. The fans' disappointment have not yet subsided within the gaming community. US social manager of Konami hoped that they will be able to gain back the good impressions from their fans.
