People are eager for March 2017. It's when the Nintendo NX is scheduled to be launched. However, Nintendo has been tight-lipped about its next-gen console. This hasn't stopped Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, however, as he has been enthusiastic about the upcoming machine to the public.
Nintendo NX Is A Fantastic Machine
Guillemot has previously said that the NX will recapture the glory days of the original Wii and DS devices. It will also win back the hearts of casual players. Recently, he mentioned the NX at an Ubisoft presentation. This is according to the Nintendo Insider.
He revealed that the new Nintendo console is a fantastic machine, which uses a new approach. Guillemot further said that Nintendo has come up with something new again. These words could really get gamers excited.
"We love it," he added.
The CEO also confirmed to Game Spot that they are "working on some [other] projects" for the console. "Just Dance 2017" is also verified for release on Nintendo NX.
Nintendo And Ubisoft's Strong Partnership
Ubisoft has been supportive of Nintendo. They have established a strong partnership over the years. Guillemot was asked about Ubisoft's faith in Nintendo. He shared the benefit of new systems on consumers. That includes the prospects it offers.
He admitted that it is a lot more rewarding when it's a new machine such as the Nintendo NX. Offering something new will open such opportunities. They will not attain it otherwise. They don't mind missing some of the experiences in established machines.
He added that players are actually more open about new hardware, but people could come back to what they know and what is familiar. That will happen if the new innovation is not perfect. Normally, people don't have references to new hardware.
Gamers have to learn everything they need to know about the next-gen console. This is before they try it. The NX is something that has never been done before. It will the first one. People will be encouraged to use it .
He acknowledged that they always want innovation. This might true. The NX is rumored to be a combination of a home console and a handheld game console.
