Pokemon GO Update: Battles, Trading, And So Much More

The Buddy system has excited us all. But hold on, there is more. Tsunekazu Ishihara, Pokemon CEO, revealed that Pokemon GO will be releasing a battle feature and so much more in the coming months.

According to Ishihara, Niantic Labs is gradually releasing each and every feature so as not to overwhelm the Pokemon GO players.

The Pokemon GO CEO also added that the PvP Battle system for Pokemon GO is absolutely part of the company's visions for the game. After all, battling is what the company does best - according to Ishihara.

Tsunekazu Ishihara licenses the merchandise and branding of the Pokemon franchise.

Ishihara added that they will also be making games for Nintendo NX. Nintendo NX is working hard and trying to change the concept of a home console device or a handheld machine.

Nintendo's chief executive also confirmed that player-to-player battles and character trades will be available for Pokemon GO.

Pokemon will surely be part of the NX since the Nintendo is also responsible for marketing and distributing Pokemon products.

In addition, Niantic CEO John Hanke also revealed that the trading system is coming in a few months. Aside from this, nothing much has been said.

To date, fans are waiting for updates on the accurate Nearby feature for Pokemon GO that could give the exact Pokemon's location. This will greatly aid in the completion of the Pokedex.

In other updates, the Pokemon GO multiplayer is already being developed for months. According to sources, this feature will also be integrated very soon. However, the team is needing ample time before they are introduced officially.

Archit Bhargave, Niantic's representative, confirmed that Niantic is exploring how the multiplayer will work. They are also working on how they will incorporate this in the reality game.

The company has, so far, explored multiplayer games. Two players from different teams can challenge each other as rivals in the PokeGym.
