Splinter Cell: Blacklist Arriving on March 2013, Amazon Reveals

It seems as if Amazon UK knows a bit more about Ubisoft’s upcoming action-adventure title “Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist.” The online retailer has leaked the release date for the game.

As per Amazon, “Blacklist” is currently slated for a March 29, 2013 European release and an April 1 North American release on PC, X360 and PS3. Moreover, Amazon has even leaked the box-arts of the game.

However, it should be noted that the March release date might change, mainly because the online shop has the PC version arriving alongside the console versions.

The new information has arrived just after it was revealed by the game’s Twitter account that “Splinter Cell: Blacklist” will feature extensive stealth mechanics. It was also stated that the players will be rewarded for their ability to play stealthily/remain undetected.

According to the game’s official page, “The United States has a military presence in two thirds of the countries around the world. A group of 12 have had enough and initiate a terror ultimatum called the Blacklist – a deadly countdown of escalating terrorist attacks on US interests. Sam Fisher is the leader of the newly formed Fourth Echelon unit: a clandestine unit that answers solely to the President of the United States. Sam and his team must hunt down these terrorists by any means necessary, and stop the Blacklist countdown before it reaches zero.”
