Inside The Acer Predator G1: A More Compact Version Of The Predator G6 Desktop?

In the gaming world, there is hardly anything more important than the power and capability of a player's choice machine. The potential of a game, after all, can only be truly realized when played on the right device. Which is why the Acer Predator G1 Desktop has made such waves in the industry - because of its power and compact design.

Acer Predator G1: Specs

Straight out of the box, players can enjoy playing even the most demanding game. Gone are the days that individuals would have to manually put together various chips and graphic cards to create an ideal gaming machine.

As noted by The New Paper, the Predator G1 has the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card under its hood. It is also powered by the Intel Core i7-6700 processor and runs exceptionally smoothly on 16GB of RAM. With these three features alone, players could enjoy even the most high-definition games without trouble.

It also packs in a 512GB Solid State Drive for the operating system and a 2TB 7,200rpm hard disk that provides additional storage space.

But even with all this power, the new device from Acer is still pretty compact. The Predator G1, its 16 litre chassis, the bundled keyboard and mouse can all fit comfortable on a standard desktop.

In fact, it is so compact - just 14 inches tall and 5 inches wide - that the chassis can be easily carried to various LAN gaming parties.

Acer Predator G1: Verdict

As C|Net puts it, the Predator G1 offers relatively the same amount of power as the previously released Predator G6 desktop, without the struggle of such a large machine. Basically, the G1 offers the same high-end gaming experience in a more acceptable and easily manageable form.
