MacRumors reported that Apple is readying up to give its Mac line an update before the year ends. The said refresh is expected to be led by the MacBook Pro 2016 and will be launched in time before the holiday rush kicks in.

The urgent release of the MacBook Pro 2016 is also highly indicated by the macOS update 10.12.1 that focused on preparing the OS to work properly with the hardware's expected features. This includes the Touch ID and OLED bar. According to the source, the company might seed in one more beta for the OS next week so that by the end of the week, Apple might have already finalized the new software just in time for the hardware launch.

MacBook Pro 2016 News

An October release for the MacBook Pro isn't exactly impossible. There have been quite a few rumors saying that Apple will release a new MacBook this year. This is also supported by a certain email leak that occurred a few weeks ago showing a conversation between an Apple follower and Tim Cook. According to a source, Cook has allegedly said that the company is very committed to the Mac and that fans should just stay tuned.

For the other Macs such as the MacBook Air, Mac Pro, Mac mini and iMac, there have been no concrete news or rumors about their refresh yet. However, Apple might as well take advantage of the alleged MacBook Pro 2016 event to announce any of their future releases and possible cancellations. Besides, fans might also want to know whether new iPads or iPad Minis are going to be released soon or not.
