'Gears of War 4' News: Microsoft Users Advised To Start DL, Update Windows 10 for Compatibility; Company Lauches Game Bundles

Microsoft recently advised both Gears of War 4 fans and Windows 10 users to begin downloading the former and update the latter with the Version 1607, OS Build 14393.222, as reported in Escapist Magazine.

Pre-ordered "Gears of War 4" can now be preloaded courtesy of the Windows Store.

Those who purchased "Gears of War 4" are lucky to know that it has an Xbox Play Anywhere adaptability. So a gamer who one or the other bought it on PC or Xbox One will be given a digital copy for the other available platform.

A noteworthy mention is that "Gears of War 4" will consume 80 GB worth of hard drive space on your PC.

Seemingly, "Gears of War 4" will have automatic download once pre-ordered. Nevertheless, the download is a bit sluggish and will only hasten once you yourself set it off.

Another important note is that Windows 10 users who have purchased "Gears of War 4" are highly recommended to set up the higher version which is Version 1607, OS Build 14393.222; in order to enjoy playing "Gears of War 4."

To further promote the October 11 launching of "Gears of War 4," Microsoft recently made it public not one but two Xbox One S "Gears of War 4" bundles, as reported in IGN.

The first bundle is a console in a white hue plus the "Gears of War 4" title and is in retail in the U.S. for $350 USD.

Another second bundle will be available in both sides of the globe; in U.S. and in Australia.

The 500 GB "deep blue" hued Xbox One S is up for $300 USD.

This promotion is selected to Microsoft Stores only and is available in Australia via EB Games.

The two Xbox One S consoles will hit the market in November 1.
