Also note that Crysis 3 PC will get some extra attention from Crytek and will support DX11 from the start. "Crysis 3," which was “accidentally” revealed by Electronic Arts, initially, is set to be the third main installment of the Crysis series and is the sequel to "Crysis 2" which released last year. "Crysis 3" will run on CryENGINE 3.
As per the game’s official page, “Return to the fight as Prophet, the Nanosuit soldier on a quest to rediscover his humanity and exact brutal revenge. Adapt on the fly with the stealth and armor abilities of your unique Nanosuit as you battle through the seven wonders of New York's Liberty Dome. Unleash the firepower of your all-new, high-tech bow and alien weaponry to hunt both human and alien enemies. And uncover the truth behind the death of your squad while reestablishing the power of human will in a rich story full of exciting twists and turns."
"Crysis 3," which will see Prophet, the chief protagonist, returning to New York City which now lies in ruins, is set in 2047. Your aim is to navigate this new and dangerous environment and seek revenge for the Cell Corporation's plans to introduce their own brand of evil.
The Cell Corporation will do whatever needs to be done for misleading the human population into believing that these city-holding Nanodomes are for 'the greater good' and would protect them from the alien forces of the Ceph. However, in reality, these giant domes are being used as a means for Cell Corporation to complete their mission of global domination.
The game is currently slated for a February 2013 release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and PC.
