Good news awaits Samsung smartphone owners. With Android 4.1, Jelly Bean, which is probably the fastest Android platform on the planet, finally released by Google, the device owners are guessing as to when they will receive the latest update. Now, as per rumors, in case of Galaxy S3, Samsung has already supposedly finished the refresh and should be pushing it out in August or September.
Although it’s not really a surprise that the hardware maker decided to roll out the new update for the device, it is always pretty cool to have a certain time-frame in mind. There is no fixed date planned as of yet, but it could be around the August or September period.

But wait. That’s not all. There is good news for Galaxy S2 owners as well. As per the same Sammobile report, Samsung is also rumored to be putting together Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S2 series.
Moreover, without naming any other specific models, Sammobile's source also claimed that other high end Samsung models like Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 2.0 and Galaxy Tab 7.7 will also get the Jelly Bean update.
The Samsung Galaxy S2, although it doesn’t showcase a fresh hardware, is still a very popular Android phone (actually one of the two most popular Samsung phones).
