Rest in Peace 'Call of Duty' Pro-Gamer Philip "Phizzurp" Klemenov

It is a sad day for the gaming community, especially among "Call of Duty" fans as the news of professional gamer Philip "Phizzurp" Klemenov death hit the stands. According to reports, he was still streaming a few hours prior to his death. Klemenov was only 23 years old.

Klemenov, who was known for his "Call of Duty" video streams was killed in a car crash accident in Aurora, Colorado. According to a preliminary report issued by the Aurora Police Department said that the police and firefighters have responded immediately after report of a black Infinity crash last Sunday. The report also said that the car was headed east when it lost control and rolled over a few times hitting trees and poles.

Along with Klemenov in the car were his girlfriend Adrianna Lemus and best friend identified as Marcelo. As reports indicated, the best friend died on the spot while Klemenov died in the hospital after sustaining critical injuries. Lemmus, on the other hand, sustained minor injuries.

According to local authorities, alcohol and speed are the main factors of the car crash. However, Lemmus took to Twitter and disputed the allegations saying that only her and the friend were drinking while Klemenov was sober.

Fans, friends, and family paid tribute to the fallen "Call of Duty" gamer with his H2K family, a gaming organization he belonged to, posted their deepest sympathy on their Facebook page.

Tyler Johnson, a fan, created a GoFundMe page to raise money for the gamer's funeral. To date, the campaign has already collected $15,000 from various people. Johnson was also all praises for Klemenov's kindness when he was still alive.

"He was one of the most genuinely nice people I have ever encountered. He was always willing to help any of his friends without thinking twice," he said.

Klemenov had won a total of 26 tournaments in his lifetime.
