NBC‘s ‘Timeless’ Series Merges Excitement And Appeal; A Total Must Watch

NBC has launched "Timeless" TV series on Oct. 3. The network also unveiled the new season of the must-watch drama series "This Is Us." But time travel seems to be the current favorite not only at NBC but in other networks as well.

Time Travel In Vogue

On the CW, the time-hopping "Flash" and "Arrow" are currently getting raves from TV viewers, along with "Frequency," a time bending radio story. At Fox, "Making History" is making waves. Not to be outdone, ABC has its own drama "Time After Time."

"Timeless" Set Apart

The premiere of "Timeless" TV series, however, seems to set it apart from the rest. It is making a strong case for the series' top place in the time travel genre. This show can be lined up with the other new big shows at NBC.

NBC has put in a lot of work to make the premiere of "Timeless" appealing and exciting. Its creators, Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke possess the skill in creating genre shows with distinct personalities.

Complex and Intriguing Narratives

Based on the shows first two episodes, it appears that the "Timeless" TV series will not be able to reach its fullest intellectual and artistic potential without using complex and intriguing narratives which will effectively captivate the minds and eyes of viewers.

Viewers can expect a lot of twists and turns since it is commonly accepted in time travel theory that if you alter one thing in the past, you change the future, even radically.

However, a main character in the "Timeless" TV series disagrees. Garcia Flynn, an Ex-Delta Force, played by Goran Visnjic, stole a time machine created by arrogant genius Conor Mason, played by Paterson Joseph.

He travelled back in time to 1937, hoping to prevent the crash of the Hindenburg. This is the basic plot of the initial episode of "Timeless" TV series.
