If you are based in Europe and can’t think about anything else except your PlayStation console, you better find something else to do from Thursday afternoon. As per reports, Sony's PlayStation Network is set to go offline on the other side of the Atlantic starting from 4PM GMT, July 26, through to 8AM Friday.
During the maintenance, you will be unable to access the following services:
- PlayStation Store on PS3, PSP and PS Vita.
- PlayStation Network Account Management.
- PlayStation Network Account Registration.
Although the maintenance work will pull down the PlayStation Store, account management and registration offline for this time, if you still wish to play online during the maintenance, then you may be able to do so if you sign in to PSN before the start of the maintenance window. However, please note that all the services listed above will not be available, even if you are signed into the Network.

Also, during this maintenance, you can continue to collect in-game trophies and these will be updated on your profile once PlayStation Network is back up and running.
We will be keeping you posted on any more updates on the maintenance work so remember to stay tuned.
