Is there anything Park Bo Gum cannot do? After his viral dance video, Park Bo Gum's agency Blossom Entertainment confirmed on Wednesday, Oct. 5 that the actor is recording the new original sound track for his rom-com historical drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds."
There is no official release date for the OST yet but according to reports, the 23-year-old actor has already finished the recording for the song and it is already in its final post production stages.
Park Bo Gum previously revealed his dream to become a singer during his high school days. "My original dream was to become a singer-songwriter, so I sent a video of myself playing the piano and singing to all the big agencies," he said.
The actor also said he still wanted to become a singer despite his successful acting career. "Currently, I work as an actor, but I still love music... I have not forgotten about my dreams to become a singer. If given the chance, I want to take part in a drama OST making and also try out for musicals," he shared in an interview with Men's Uno, cited IB Times.
"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" has been topping the viewer ratings in Korea at a steady 20 percent. Big names including Sung Si Kyung, Gummy, K.Will, Lee Juk, and Baek Ji Young have already lent their voices for the drama while another "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" cast, B1A4's Jinyoung, who plays Kim Yoon Sung, previously produced an OST for the drama.
Meanwhile, this week in "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds," Ra On (Kim Yoo Jung) has already left the palace. Crown Prince Lee Young (Park Bo Gum) is dazed, crying over the eternity bracelet he gave her. The ending scenes featured Ra On and crown prince meeting again, but there is no time to celebrate as Prime Minister Kim Heon (Cheon Ho Jin) is laying a trap.
Earlier Ra On received a letter from Head Eunuch Han requesting a meeting to talk about his father. Ra On found the crown prince at the meeting place instead of him. The crown prince embraced her in their emotional reunion but what they don't know is the prime minister has already gathered soldiers outside the building to arrest Ra On, who is the daughter of a former rebel, and accuse the crown prince of hiding her.
"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" airs on Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 p.m. KST on KBS.
