In other news, Phoenix City has decided to replace Columbus Day with Indigenous People's Day. This day will aim to celebrate the culture of native people across the Americas. Indigenous activist have been campaigning for decades for the acceptance of the holiday. It is said that celebrating the arrival of Columbus is similar to rejoicing in the decimation of the Native Americans across the continent.
