Pokemon GO Update: Third Party Trackers Disabled – 0.39 API Crack Underway?

Pokemon GO third party trackers have been disabled. Niantic's latest update, the 0.39 API is the reason why most of the tracking applications have stopped working in the game.

Pokemon GO Third Party Tracker - What Happen?

Most if not all Pokemon GO third party trackers are using the 0.35 API to locate the numerous Pokemon Spawns in the game. However, the tracking developers were all shut out of Pokemon GO when Niantic release the 0.39 API updates. FastPokeMap posted on its website that their scanning has been disabled. It reassured its Pokemon GO users that it "will be back soon". FPM advised is followers to visit their Twitter page for any updates.

Pokemon GO 0.39 API - Reverse Engineering Underway?

Niantic from time to time has updated the game's API to kick out the Bots and third party applications out of Pokemon GO. But the developers have managed to bypass the security updates. This time however, the 0.39 API has stump the Pokemon GO dev community, according to Pokemongohub.

The Pokemon GO bots are already out and it seems the third party trackers are banned as well. Game observers noted that there is no reliable third party tracker in the game as of press time. Many Pokemon GO players have grown reliant to third party trackers that many are reportedly leaving or considering to leave the game altogether.

The Pokemon GO reverse engineering community has also dwindled over time. The slow release of features in Pokemon GO has also dampened the enthusiasm of hackers to break the game's code. Industry observers believed that it will take time before a crack for the 0.39 API could be found.

Pokemon GO Still Playable Without Third Party Trackers

Fortunately, Pokemon GO is still playable even without the third party trackers. Niantic did include an in-game tracker but not as useful compared to the outside trackers, according to many Pokemon GO players. However, it seems avid fans of the game will have to make do.
