Kpop Star Ryeoowok Military Enlistment On Tuesday, What Is Next For Super Junior?

Super Junior has been one of the most-sought after performers in South Korea up until today. A numerous number of people from around the globe have been avid fans of the boy band. However, with the fame that Super Junior is experiencing right now, they are still not exempted with the mandatory military enlistment in their country. With that, Ryeowook, one of its member, is set to enroll in the military enlistment on Tuesday.

According to International Business Times, the 28-year-old Super Junior member was scheduled to join his draft from June 14. Ryeoowok would be recruited at a training facility in Jeungpyeong County, North Chungcheong Province on October 11. He will go through a series of military training for a few weeks and then active duty as a soldier for 21 months.

Ryeowook is one of the last members of the Super Junior who would be joining the army. He is alongside Cho Kyu-hyun who is not yet enrolled in the military service.

Fans all over the world are saddened with the fact that they would not see the artist for a number of months. Ryeowook, according to Soompi, is a musical actor, a radio DJ, and a solo artist who released his first album this year.

Ryeowook’s real name is Kim Ryeowook. He was supposed to take the enlistment last June but it was delayed due to a fan meeting overseas. Giving a full statement that he would enlist right after he comes back.

"After completing his Super Junior overseas schedules, Ryeowook is hoping to enlist right away. He plans on enlisting as an active-duty soldier as soon as the enlistment date is confirmed and will faithfully fulfill his military duty."
