Sony LT29i is Not Hayabusa, It's Xperia TX

Rumors surrounding the latest Sony device were available on the Internet in abundance. While features of the phone were almost similar in all the reports, name of the smartphone was still unclear. While some said it's Hayabusa, others claimed it will be just LT29i. However, according to a new report that surfaced last week, the Sony LT29i smartphone has finally received its name - Sony Xperia TX.

XperiaBlog, which has cited "trusted" sources for the phone, reported that the Sony smartphone will come with the name of 'Sony Xperia TX.' Moreover, the report also claims that the TX name fits into Sony's new letter-based naming scheme.

Earlier, reports claimed that the LT29i smartphone will feature a 8.6mm thick and 127gms light-weighted device. Rumors claim that Hayabusa will have a 4.55-inch HD 720 x 1280 display, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GB of RAM, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, Adreno 225 GPU, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, NFC connectivity, a 1,700mAh battery, and a microSD card slot. The phone is expected to be released on Aug. 29 at the pre-IFA event in Berlin. In July, the Xperia LT29i Hayabusa, however, already made its first online photo appearances.

Meanwhile, an ePrice report claimed that the Japanese multinational conglomerate will unveil two other new smartphones Xperia J and Xperia SL.

Xperia J aka ST26i will be an entry-level device, said various reports. The Xperia J smartphone will feature a regular candybar design with 4-inch WVGA touchscreen with 854x480 pixels resolution, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 1GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G with HSPA, and Bluetooth.

Xperia SL, Xperia S' successor, on the other hand, will feature not only vibrant colors but also a more powerful dual-core, 1.7GHz Snapdragon S3 processor with MSM8260 chipset. Earlier reports claimed that the SL smartphone will come with a 1.5GHz chip.
