Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 offers five different races to choose from. The Earthling, Saiyan and Majin race have male and female options. The Namekian and Frieza races only offer the male gender. A male or female gender will have its own positive and negative attributes.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Character Build Advantages

Earthlings are the most balanced in terms of combat stat and generating Ki. Human males have stronger Super Strike Attacks but females could produce more powerful Ki Blasts. The Saiyan race's attack gets stronger as their health gets lower. Saiyan stats grow after they are revived. Men can launch more powerful attacks than the women. However, Saiyan males do not have the good stamina recovery of females.

The Majin race tends to have a greater defense as long as their stamina is at maximum which takes longer to recover. Majin males have greater health and defense than their female counterparts. The Namekian race has high stamina and health recovery but lacks power in their attacks. The Frieza race is agile and has quick stamina recovery. However, Frieza's health is not that great and they to get slower the moment they get weaker.

Picking a race and gender in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is the easy part. Customizing the character's looks can be time consuming, according to Siliconera. The Earthling eyes, nose, ears, mouth and hair are typical. It's the alien facial features that could get getting used to. The Majin male has 27 hair types, 17 eyes and 22 mouths or jaw feature to choose from. Most players will probably choose the alien races just to see how they look in different hair styles.
