'Pokémon Sun And Moon' Anime New Trailer Teases Z-Moves; Features Rotom Pokedex And New Generation Pokémon

The newest addition to the phenomenal "Pokémon" franchise, "Pokémon Sun And Moon" anime, recently released another teaser trailer that showcased the new Z-Moves, new generation Pokémon and Rotom Pokedex. Check out the details below.

On Tuesday, the official Pokémon YouTube channel teased the Z-Moves in the upcoming "Pokémon Sun And Moon" anime. The video also announced that the upcoming anime will make its debut on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations in Japan on November 17 with an hour long special pilot episode.

In a previous report here in iTech Post, it was revealed that Z-Moves are a new technique introduced in the "Pokémon" games. In the said technique, each Pokémon will have a Z-Stone that can be used to upgrade their moves.

 So far, there are two types of Z-Moves confirmed. The first one is the type-specific Z-Stone that allows Pokémon upgrade an attack of the same type. The other one is the species-specific Z-Stone that allows an evolution and learn a new attack. A good example of the latter is Munchlax's evolution to Snorlax.

Aside from that, the new "Pokémon Sun And Moon" anime trailer also featured the new generation of Pokémon and characters. The Rotom Pokedex was also teased as well as the Z-ring that Ash was wearing in a previous trailer.

In the upcoming "Pokémon Sun And Moon" anime, Ash is going to school as a student. It was believed that one of the key visuals of the upcoming series is Ash's aim to graduate. The series will also follow his school activities and adventures in Alola region. It can be noted that this theme is somehow different from other "Pokémon" anime.

Aside from the anime series, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will also get a game and manga version. The said manga version will be titled "Pokémon Horizon" and will be part of the October issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics. As for the game, it is expected to debut in Japan and North America on November 18 and in Europe on November 23.
