Pokemon Sun And Moon Update: Ultra Beasts Data Mine Confirms Hybrids?

Pokemon Sun and Moon special demo version has been rolled out recently and data miners could not resist themselves exploring the games' codes. There are several data mined information leaked as to date. One of these included the background of new Ultra Beasts.

According to the reports from Heavy, a comparison chart between the village trainers and Aether Foundation members versus Ultra Beasts appear to confirm Pokemon-human hybrids. Based on the chart, the Ultra Beasts had shown lots of similarities to the previously introduced characters which include Lillie and Hala, who gave the hero their first Pokemon.

One Redditor predicted that Guzma, the leader of Team Skull, is a direct replica of one of the Ultra Beasts. The Pokemon-human hybrids have been theorized by fans. However, the latest data mine confirms the said assumption. Despite appearing on the PokeDex, it is still unclear if the Ultra Beasts are considered to be Pokemon.

The nature of the Ultra Beasts on the official Pokemon website are still confusing. Ultra Beast (UB-01) is not included on the list of new Pokemon on the official website. Based on the official description, it states that "rumors are spreading about these creatures known as Ultra Beasts". These creatures could pose a threat to humans and Pokemon due to the mighty powers they possessed.

On the other hand, the final evolution for Alolan starters Pokemon Rowlet, Litten and Popplio have also confirmed through data mine. An image of a Robinhood owl, a mermaind seal and a bipedal wrestler cat was leaked previously. Currently, it was shown again by the data miners along with other new generation of Pokemon and Alolan forms.

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be available on Nov. 18 in North America and followed by a European release on Nov. 23 exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
