Women Drivers Found To Be 'Consistently More Angry' Than Men; Are Female Instincts To Blame?

A new study at Hyundai Motor U.K. has revealed that female drivers are angrier than men drivers when they are driving. The researchers say this may be an evolutionary "defense" which dates back when humans were hunter-gatherers, and our early female ancestors who had a sense of danger for threats.

Behavioral psychologist from Goldsmiths University London Patrick Fagan, who led the study, said that women perform much better compared to men on verbal and emotional intelligence. He added that according to evolutionary theory, our early female ancestors developed a strong sense of fear for things that posed danger to them and their loved ones in the cave while men were out hunting, according to Nature Wonders.

"Psychologically, women score higher than men on emotional and verbal intelligence, and on the personality trait of neuroticism," Fagan stated.

Drivers in all sexes are "sense tested" to check how their senses provoke emotional reactions while driving.
These evolutionary traits burst in during the test when women were undertaken, shouted or beeped at, had to deal with a back-seat driver, or were faced with a road user who didn't indicate.

There are two dominant emotions, Happiness and Anger. In the study 84 percent of them admitted freedom of driving makes them happy, while road trip on the countryside is by 78 and 69 percent.

By combining data from the research with cutting-edge technology, Hyundai and Patrick Fagan have come up with the world's first Driving Emotion Test (DET), which involves eye tracking analysis, facial coding, galvanic skin response, and a heart rate monitor to record "how specific stimuli impact our emotions when we're driving". The results are then fed into a special software that provides subjects with a unique DET score, according to Car Scoops.

So more likely, you don't wanna try to provoke a woman while driving. After all, it's not just temper or emotions that are to blame. It seems like anger during driving for women is something instinctive, and all men know to never provoke a woman's instincts.
