Nintendo Teased More Switch Details; "We Haven't Shown Anything Yet"

Since Nintendo announced their newest console a few days ago, some gaming enthusiasts are still not impressed by the way Nintendo handling the leaks. However, Nintendo responded positively with these critics by offering another Nintendo Switch surprise. The gaming company shared their future plans regarding their latest hybrid console.

According to Wall Street Journal, a spokesperson from Nintendo said that "We haven't shown anything yet." The unknown persona added that Nintendo will announce additional details about Nintendo Switch next year prior to its release on March. As previously reported, Nintendo plans to announce the system specification, games offered and price next year. 

Based on the report from Gamespot, the recent 6.5 percent drop of Nintendo's stock value on the market was a bigger drop compared to the Wii U announcement back in July 2011. Some analytics pointed out that Nintendo Switch could possibly struggle to fit into the market. It was also revealed that the Switch will feature a multiple configuration where you can play at your home or while on the go.

When playing at home, the Nintendo Switch sits in a Nintendo Switch Dock that connects directly to a TV while on the other hand, when you lift the system out of the dock, it will instantly transition into portable mode. The detachable controllers will sit on either side of the Switch. These are called the "Joy-Con" controllers.

As previously reported here, Nintendo will also offer an accessory called Joy-Grip where you can choose to attach it to the Switch copying the more traditional controller. Nintendo also said that the Joy-Con controllers can also be used wirelessly. Nintendo Switch is also beneficial to the owners since it does not require an extra console in order to play LAN games with their friends. In addition, the gaming company said that they will sell out an optional Switch Pro Controller alternative to the Joy-Con controllers.

Nintendo Switch is expected to arrive March of next year.
