Rihanna Joins Call To Help Find Missing Backup Dancer Shirlene Quigley; 'Work' Singer Implores Fans With Emotional Instagram Post

Rihanna has recently captured people's attention with an emotional Instagram post regarding the disappearance of Shirlene Quigley, one of her former back-up dancers. The North Bergen Police Department is currently investigating the case of the celebrity backup dancer who was reported missing.

Requests for help in finding relevant information about Quigley's whereabouts have been circulating online until now. Rihanna is among the latest celebrities to join the call to help find the missing dancer.

Rihanna's decision to open up about her concern started with an Instagram post. She wrote: "This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!! My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her! If anyone has seen of has any information on @shirlenequigley's whereabouts.....PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100!!!!"

Quigley is a dance teacher at the Peridance Capezio and Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan. Aside from the "Work" hitmaker, the dancer has also worked with other renowned celebrities like Missy Elliott, Jamie Foxx and Beyonce, among others.

According to NBC, Quigley was last seen to leave her home in New Jersey, Sunday afternoon. Her father shared that his daughter was last spotted getting on a bus at Port Authority around 1 a.m. on Sunday. He explained that he started to worry when he had not heard from her as his daughter would routinely call him daily around 6 p.m.

It is reported that police later retrieved her mobile phone at a bridal shop in Chelsea, New York. Her father recalled that Quigley dropped a bizarre comment to her friend, saying, "Get ready, it's about to happen and I'm going to need you to sub for me." No other details are available at the moment.

Being one to create the very first high heeled class in Los Angeles, Quigley's career peaked in 2013 when she was chosen as one of Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" dancers. People also have seen her perform for the music video of Rihanna's song "S.O.S." as well as for MTV and some awards shows like ESPY, Grammy's and VMA's.
