Internet giant Google is joining the VR scene. Its new device called the Daydream VR is set to be released this month of November.

According to Tech Radar, Google has officially announced that it will be launching its Daydream VR next week, November 10. It is said that this will be the next phase of mobile virtual reality.

Though the Daydream VR will not be able to compete with Vive, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation VR in terms of gaming experience, there will be a number of games available at Google Play Store. About the price of those games, there is no information about it.

Fans will be delighted to hear that the Daydream VR comes in with an affordable price ($79 USD). The downside however, is that it will need an expensive mobile device for it to work.

About what kind of mobile devices it will be compatible with the Daydream VR, it is confirmed that Google promised that it will have a variety of choices. The choices will be from the upcoming mobile phones from Samsung, Alcatel, Asus, HTC, LG and Xiaomi. Also, good news for the Google Pixel smartphones owners, the device is compatible with it.

Another thing about the Daydream VR is that it comes with an external controller and its design is very comfortable (based on pictures and the fact that it's literally made of fabric). About the external controller, there is no information if it will have a voice recognition system, but fans are praying for a miracle that there will be.
