Hearthstone Expansion Teased In New Issue Of Blizzard's Gadgetzan Gazette

With BlizzCon 2016 just around the corner, Blizzard continues to tease an impending Hearthstone expansion through the new issue of the Gadgetzan Gazette. The latest issue of the Gazette hints that more troubles might be coming to the Goblin-run outpost than what was previously intended.

Missing Jade Mystery Brews Problems At Gadgetzan

The Volume 32, issue #9 of the in-game publication Gadgetzan Gazette talks about Gadgetzan planning to build a "world-class museum" in the near future. Artifacts for the museum are already loaded up and the museum was said to provide free appraisals to all visitors. The report also concurs that the museum is willing to pay gold and accept donations of artifacts for the upcoming Mysteries of Pandaria exhibit through curator Madam Goya.

All the preparations fall into one major problem as the Gazette explains that, "The museum may have difficulties putting the finishing touches on its jade exhibition." Just recently, reports of missing precious jewelry, particularly jade, began disappearing across the city. The paper also mentioned that the missing jewelry could be related to nighttime sightings of shadowy masked figures that were seen by Gadgetzan residents to be leaping from rooftop to rooftop.

Posted also in the Gadgetzan Gazette front page is a "Jade 4 Gold!" ad. The ad announces to offer "cold hard coins" for jade found in any form such as trinkets, amulets, statues, baubles, curios, or doodads.

Hearthstone Expansion To Be Announced In BlizzCon 2016?

In conclusion, Hearthstone might be coming to Gadgetzan. It is up to speculation to figure out what awaits for Hearthstone in Gadgetzan. Meanwhile, one of the first panels on BlizzCon is titled "Hearthstone: What's Next." Blizzard might just be waiting for the right moment to reveal the Hearthstone expansion, and it could be during BlizzCon 2016.

Hearthstone is a free-to-play, fast-paced strategy game on Battle.net where players can command the heroes of Warcraft in duels of epic strategy. The game is available in PC, Apple and Android devices. Nintendo might also include Hearthstone in the new Switch console.
