Mavis is the mother of Rahkeid. And as August puts it, only his mother can subdue him. What will happen when the two clashed? The Fairy Tail Guild needs to only dismantle three of the strongest figthers. Can they, do it? Here is a recap of chapter 509 and spoilers for Fairy Tail 510 episode.

The Strong And The Weak

Chapter 509 bares with Jellal and his group, defeated by August. August asks Crime Sorciere's change of heart. That from Darkness, Jellal has chosen a path to the Light. August then tells him it was a ridiculous decision. He then starts on talking about power of Light Rahkeid was born with, but this boy never knew somehow what love is. Rahkeid wavered Light to Darkness until he reached a state of mind barren of anything. As August turns away from Jelial with parting words, "There is no good or evil in light or darkness. If there is true justice in this world it may as well lie in love."

In the meantime, Rahkeid exposes that Natsu is his uncle, being that Natsu is Zeref's brother. This alarms Kagura and Yukino. Rahkeid continues, raving that his own father cares more for his brother. He begins to attack using Blades of Light, but Kagura can repel this. Kagura is certain that she can take down Rahkeid, even dodging his vines by biting her tongue.

Kagura uses her sword to cut Rahkeid. However, Rahkeid can block the blade using both hands. Rahkeid reveals that he, along with Eileen and August, are special anomalies. While blocking Kagura's blade, Rahkeid's hand cuts Kagura's torso. Kagura bleeds and falls to the ground.

We can now imagine what would be the outcome once Mavis meets her son Rahkeid. At first, there will be defiance. However, in the end, we can hope that Rahkeid will cool down and decide to favor Mavis. If Rahkeid were to switch sides, he can surely help Fairy Tail in vanquishing Eileen.
