Just recently, former One Direction" member Zayn Malik revealed in an autobiography how he has been dealing with extreme anxiety with all the fame that he has now. Thus, the singer has been advised by someone who went through the same thing to get professional help and ease the anxiety he has internally.

A few weeks ago, Zayn Malik revealed in an interview about how he regretted joining One Direction. At the time, he felt that it was the right decision as he wants to showcase his talent. However, joining the band became too overwhelming for him and he just couldn't handle the pressure that came with it especially at a young age. According to him, perhaps he just wasn't built to be in that much spotlight, and that if he had to go back in time he would tell his past self to wait a couple of years before venturing into the business.

Unfortunately for him, what's done is already done and he is indeed already in the spotlight. Although leaving One Direction made it a little easier on him, avoiding tours and taking more control of his own appearances, he is still having a hard time dealing with the pressure. Thus, former Spice Girls member Mel C advised him to get professional help. He will not be able to get through this as easy as he may have thought.

According to Mel C, she went through the exact same thing when fame came at her at such a young age. She revealed that although fame and fortune has been one of her greatest dreams, she was overwhelmed by the things that came with it, ones that she did not expect. After witnessing Zayn having gone through the same thing, and cancelling events due to his anxiety, she is then advising him to get help. With all the fame that he is getting, as overwhelming as it is, he should do something about it so as not to lose the support he has been getting from his fans.
